A few years ago if you asked me if I would ever imagine doing yoga instead of a Barry's class I would say NO WAY!
I used to think that running at 9+ speed would not only make me feel better physically but mentally as well. I thought it was the only workout that would help release stress and toxins in my body, I was wrong. Crossfit wasn't the only thing that would take my stress away, I found something better that gave me more mental clarity than I have ever gotten before. Yoga has changed my life in the best way possible. Maybe it's the end of the session shavasana that I love or it might be the fact that you can't lie to yourself during your yoga practice. Your mind is either in your practice or it's elsewhere. Yoga has become an escape for me and I love every second of it.
